A.W. Ennis Ltd. is a leading manufacturer with a long-established reputation for high-quality animal feeds. Located outside Virginia, Co. Cavan, our facilities supply feeds for a wide range of farm livestock across the island of Ireland.
We are now recruiting for a Quality, Health & Safety Manager.
Reporting to the Managing Director and working alongside the Feed Quality Team, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the management of the Hygiene, Environmental and Sustainability, Health and Safety and Supplier Compliance requirements of the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure that the business operates to “Audit Ready” standards for regulatory (DAFM, EPA & HSA) and customer audits at all times.
· On site Environmental and Sustainability Management (e.g., EPA Audits, ISO 14001).
· On site Health and Safety Management.
· On site Pest Control Management (including contractor performance and monitoring).
· Maintain and update the Quality and HACCP plans.
· Manage SOP’s and staff training as required.
· Co-ordinate and undertake supplier audits.
· Direct management of the site Hygiene Team
Candidate Profile
· 3+ years in a similar role.
· 3rd Level Qualification in Agriculture/Food Sciences.
· Management experience desirable.
· Excellent attention to detail.
