**Job Title**: Roofing Operative

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems, including tiles, shingles, felt, and metal roofing.
- Ensure all roofing work complies with local building codes and regulations.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively, including ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of job sites, including clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively with clients regarding project scope, timelines, and any issues that may arise.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines to minimize risks and ensure a safe workplace.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as a roofing operative or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of various roofing materials and techniques.
- Valid safety certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling) preferred, or willingness to obtain them.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation to job sites.
