Job Title: Slinger/Banksman
Location: Sligo, Ireland

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 4:30pm
Contract: 6 months minimum, with possibility of extension
Job Description:
As a Slinger/Banksman for our construction company, you will play a crucial role in our operations. You will be responsible for slinging 360 excavators and carrying out other required duties on the worksite.
Main Responsibilities:

• Safely attach loads to cranes or other heavy machinery, using slings, chains, or other attachment methods.
• Direct the movement of plant and equipment, using approved hand and verbal signals.
• Ensure a safe system of work is followed during lifting operations.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or defects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• CSCS Slinger card is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a Slinger/Banksman in the construction industry is preferable.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain a professional attitude.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
