We’re seeking a social media creator to come join the team – helping our content team to create assets for Instagram Reels, IGTV, Tik Tok, Snapchat, and You Tube. We have a reputation for creating the very best video content across all of our channels - and we have a lot of fun doing so.
At the Baby Doc Group, we operate Ireland and the UK’s largest online Mum & Baby platforms – the Baby Doc Club and Baby Doc Shop. We work with some of the best-known FMCG brands in the world and pride ourselves on being the very best at delivering digital content to our large social communities of followers.
No prior knowledge of the Mum & Baby sector is required but an eagerness to learn and understand is crucial. The ideal candidate will have a background in either graphic design and/orsocial media and will be an avid Instagram and Tik Tok user - and will be comfortable using these Apps to create videos.
Successful candidates will report directly to our Head of Content and will receive on the job training in areas such as paid social advertising to help amplify all social media campaigns.
**This is an office-based role. The candidate must be comfortable commuting to Deansgrage, Co Dublin.**
The role:
This is a busy, varied role. In summary your time will be spent, but not limited to…

• Working with the content team in creating content suitable for Instagram Reels, Tik Tok, etc. tapping into the latest trends and ensuring the assets reach/engage with our audience of followers.
• Pitching ideas at content/client meetings and offering a fresh perspective on how we typically do things.
• Help with the management of the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat and You Tube, adapting content to suit different channels.
• Developing a sustainable strategy for continued engagement and growth of our followership.
• Reporting on effectiveness of social marketing campaigns and bringing actionable insights and recommendations to further develop the social marketing strategy.
• Collaborate with multiple team members, including content, design, commercial and sales.

Requirements:

• It’s a cliché but a good attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn is essential
• You’ll need to be passionate about social media – with Instagram Reels and Tik Tok being the most important part of the role
• You'll also need to be comfortable using mobile phones to create videos within the Instagram Reels and Tik Tok Apps.
• Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Social Media, Graphic Design, Videography or related field is required.
• Work experience in social/digital media role is preferable but not absolutely necessary – everyone has to start somewhere after all!
• Understanding and commercial experience of paid social media platforms is advantageous.
• You’ll need to be creative and a fast learner. We have lots of content you can leverage but it’ll be up to you to figure it out how to bring it to life.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills are key.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €28,000.00-€30,000.00 per year
