We are looking for an end-to-end UX Designer that is excited by deeply technical services and being able to zoom in on build the next generation of resilient tools that make AWS better and more effective than ever.

AWS Incident Response is at the heart of the high availability of Amazon Web Services. We make customer impacting events shorter and less frequent by driving large scale event and incident response. Our automated tooling quickly identifies the cause of an issue and helps mitigate its impact, and much of our engineer time is spent on projects to improve the tooling and automation. We also provide manual incident management for AWS and other Amazon groups, directing the resolution of an issue with service teams, and diving deep into those events to drive improvements to the tooling. It's an exciting time to join our team as we are growing and expanding our offerings.
We are looking for a Senior UX designer to lead the thinking in how we deliver a bar-raising experience for our customers. You will have the chance to dive-deep and learn how people actually use the tool, invent new mental models and interaction patterns, and have strategic impact on the team's delivery roadmap to make sure we're not only delivering the right things, but the best things for our customers.
Throughout the strategy, design, and development lifecycle, you will work collaboratively with a strong design team in AIS, engineers, product managers, and executives. In addition, you will be expected to be a design thought leader and mentor other designers. Here you can truly own and mange the end to end product design life-cycle.
