EMG Energy Consultants are a newly established company in the area of energy consultation, solutions, design, delivery and implementation in the domestic and commercial new build and retro-fit market. Based in Ennis, Co. Clare, EMG Energy Consultants will mainly cover the Munster and South Connacht area.
The successful applicant will be required to complete domestic surveys, prepare home energy assessment/ energy audits with recommendations for energy upgrade reports and design.
Candidates will be provided with a suitable development pathway to obtaining certification as a BER assessor.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
● Minimum Level 6 qualification in Construction, Science or Engineering, in the area of energy sustainability.
● Excellent computer skills including Office, CAD, Revit, Sketchup or similar. Training can be provided in this area if required.
● Excellent time management skills, working to deadlines
● Excellent planning and organizing skills
● Excellent attention to detail, to ensure accuracy in drawings
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key activities for the role includes:
● Training under a Senior Energy Consultation
● Carrying out take-offs from surveys and drawings
