Job Summary
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual to join one of our busy locations in Dublin City Centre. The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience to our guests . This role requires a blend of efficiency, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service skills to ensure guests enjoy a memorable meal.
Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide detailed explanations of menu items, including specials and promotions.
• Provide customer suggestions to enhance customers' experience and add to sales Address guests’ queries and dietary needs with knowledge and professionalism.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and promptly.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
• Handle complaints or issues with a positive attitude and escalate to management when necessary.
• Develops long-lasting relationships with the neighbourhood.
• Acknowledges those who visit the store frequently.
• Commits to marketing policies and promotions, not limited to upselling, special events, supplier days, recipe cards and more.
• Maintains proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards; specifically ensuring all HACCP guidelines are followed at all times.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen.
• Work cohesively with other staff members, including kitchen and bar staff, to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
