Work closely with our Director of Finance Operations to leverage operational prowess to Design, implement, and manage a scalable global model for payroll operations and administration. Ownership of the end-to-end payroll process for Israel and International markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness – all also in coordination with outsourcing vendors (PEOs\EORs). Prepare and support the monthly payroll process, including preparation of the monthly payroll information, approval of the monthly pay slips, reconciliation, preparation and posting of the monthly payroll entry in Net Suite. Ensure all payments to employees and payroll related institutions are made on time and accurately.
Lead the payroll process and be accountable for all aspects, including but not limited to on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, support and working with pensions insurance providers, leave of absence and vacation balance management, military service claims and any ad-hoc tasks. Month-end Support - prepare and review the monthly payroll expenses, ensure completeness and accuracy of data and prepare an analytical report. Ensure payroll compliance with company policy, with local tax legislation and on-time reporting and payments to local Social Security and Tax authorities. Serving as the main point of contact and Subject Matter Expert for all payroll-related matters and employees’ related inquiries.
Certified Payroll Accountant in Israel – mandatory. At least 5+ years of relevant experience leading Payroll and related processes in complex, rapidly and hyper-growth Global International Tech Companies. Experience in processing payroll and working with external payroll providers and HRIS modules and Hashavim. In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislation in Israel.
Experience in working with global payroll providers like Mazars, PEOs and Employee of Record (EOR) Organizations. In-depth knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor code and social benefits in global territories. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and execute multi-tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Must have the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels/functions throughout the company to deliver timely and high-quality work product. A problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions proactively. Experience with executing automation projects and integrations to streamline the payroll process Advanced Excel skills. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, service-oriented Ability to work and solve problems independently and to use experience and critical thinking to identify issues that require escalation.
