We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us build the future of agriculture. You can come from a generalist, systems-infrastructure, or full stack background.
Prospera (a Valmot company) uses AI based image analysis and other data sensors to help farmers save time and optimize their yields. We do this by providing insights about plant growth, irrigation, diseases and nutrients. We design and build field-hardy weatherproof cameras, communications and control Io T devices, base stations that apply edge computing, integrate with satellite imagery, build beautiful state of the art mobile and web consumer applications as well as tooling applications, data analysis pipelines and complex workflows that enable agronomists, operations specialists, remote sensing scientists and ML researchers to work effectively together to deliver timely insights to farmers. We are really just getting started!

Requirements:
- Led significant software projects involving several teams - MUST
- Strong computer science background
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent team player
Responsibilities:
- Take initiative, create new solutions, step into uncharted territory
- Collaborate with teams in Israel, US and India, across AWS, Azure and Google cloud environments and a very diverse technology stack. We use Python, Node, Angular, React, Git, Jenkins, Terraform to name a few
- Set direction and standards
- Bring state of the art knowledge into the team and help apply it
- Strive for continuous improvement and excellence
- Realize gaps and take initiative to close them
- Mentor other team members
- Collaborate well with team members and our numerous stakeholders
- Deeply understand the business and our products
