We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can think strategically and excel in design implementation with a passion for craft and making complexity easy to use.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with top talent as part of our mobile experiences team. You’ll play a key role in our company’s mission, working on our core consumer product that directly impacts Via’s users around the world. We’re not just designing apps; we're reshaping the way people experience transportation in their everyday lives.

Building the world's most efficient, equitable, and sustainable transportation network for all passengers — including those with limited mobility, those without smartphones, and unbanked populations — Via works with its partners to lower the costs of public transit while providing transportation options that rival the convenience of a personal car while reducing environmental impact.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with top talent as part of our mobile experiences team. You’ll play a key role in our company’s mission, working on our core consumer product that directly impacts Via’s users around the world. We’re not just designing apps; we're reshaping the way people experience transportation in their everyday lives.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design process for significant product areas from concept to implementation, while understanding technical constraints and spotting opportunities out of it.
- Perform user research & usability test sessions and translate insights into design decisions.
- Create user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Promote product discovery and ideation.
- Work through the entire lifecycle of the project and collaborate closely with product managers, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders.
- 5 + years of experience in digital product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in leading design projects from concept to launch.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating design decisions and rationale clearly.
- Craftsmanship - You have a high bar for craft and quality in your work
- Proficient with Figma, and high-fidelity prototyping tool.
- Experience in motion and interaction design (advantage)
- Experience working on customer-facing mobile applications (advantage)
- Can-do approach, great social skills, and a team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to take ownership, work independently & be accountable for your work.
