RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate is expected to work closely with our teams developing research on the political dynamics of climate policy. Possible tasks include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the team in designing and analyzing general population surveys
• Supporting the team in designing and collecting data for elite and stakeholder surveys
• Supporting the team’ work on systematic reviews of the climate policy literature
• Supporting the team’s computational text analysis work

The job location is Milan, Italy.

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a motivated person with the following requirements:

• Master’s degree in economics, political science, or any related fields.
• Strong quantitative and econometric background
• Fluency in programming language such as R, python, and STATA.
• Familiarity with survey design, data collection, and analysis
• Familiarity with Qualtrics
• Fluency in English (Italian not needed).
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and diverse environment committed to high-quality research.

DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• The appointment period will be for 9 months as research assistant.
• The gross salary will be based on qualification and working experience and competitive with major research centers in Europe.
• CMCC provides some additional benefits like flexible working time, support during the immigration process, if needed.

PROTECTED CATEGORY
Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
