We're opening our third Social Hub in Italy and second one in Florence, well known for its majestic Renaissance heritage while looking at the future. Located in a bustling neighborhood and surrounded of local bars, restaurants & shops and a few steps from the Centre of the city, The Social Hub Belfiore will operate around 549 rooms, a Boulevard with commercial activities, a thriving co-working community, restaurants and a 7.000 sqm rooftop with a pool and green areas. We're so much more than just a hotel. Are you ready to reimagine hospitality with us and establish TSH in the heart of the Florentine community? We're looking to onboard someone by December 2024.
As a Barista at TSH, you'll bring warmth and expertise to every guest interaction, crafting delicious coffee/tea drinks and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether it's the perfect morning espresso or a specialty tea, your goal is to provide exceptional service and make every coffee/tea moment special. You'll know all about our products and how to sell them to our guests. Thanks to you, anyone who steps into our Florence Belfiore location will instantly become a huge fan of TSH!

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Spain with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.
What You'll Do

Prepare and serve a wide variety of teas, coffees and espresso beverages to the highest standard.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized coffee station at all times.
Engage with guests, providing recommendations and personalizing their coffee/tea experience.
Operate coffee machines and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality.
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Assist in general front-of-house duties, including seating guests and answering queries.
Ensure that everyone receives a warm welcome as soon as they walk through the door.
Be a secret concierge for the city, answering guests' questions about the best places to visit, eat, shop, or have fun.
Assist our guests with any requests or needs related to our facilities.

Who You Are

Prior experience as a Barista in a fast-paced café or hotel environment.
Passion for coffees and teas and knowledge of various brewing methods.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests and build rapport.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
You have a flexible, hands-on, motivated, and positive attitude.
You're a multitasker who loves putting your skills to good use.
You love taking responsibility and handle busy periods with professional calm.
A good level of English – Know other languages? The more, the better!
You're hardworking, responsible, and have a "let's do it!" mentality.
You are a European citizen or legally authorized to work in Italy.
