A young family based in the province of Bussero, near Milan, is looking for a kind-hearted and gentle nanny to care for their 14-month-old boy. The role is live-in, and the nanny will have her own private bedroom and bathroom with a separate entrance. The working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 7 PM, with occasional weekend work to be agreed upon in advance.
Both parents are business owners; the father often works from his nearby studio, while the mother works from home. They are looking for a reliable and experienced nanny who can provide excellent care for their little boy and support his development as he grows. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in childcare, with a solid understanding of child development and a passion for nurturing young minds. The family is particularly looking for a nanny with a passion for books, literature, art, and design—someone who can creatively incorporate these interests into daily activities, fostering a stimulating and inspiring environment for their son.
The nanny will be expected to create an engaging and educational atmosphere, full of play, learning, and fun. The parents appreciate a nanny who has a gentle, patient, and calm approach to childcare—someone who can remain composed even in challenging moments and guide their son with kindness and understanding. While not essential, the family would value someone with a Montessori background or experience in other alternative education methods, as they are open to exploring different approaches to help their child thrive. The child is now settled into a routine and generally sleeps through the night, however the nanny will be expected to supervise him during the night in case he wakes up, which happens only occasionally. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is highly organise and takes pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for the child. Additionally, the family is seeking a nanny who is confident in the kitchen and can prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals that not only support the baby’s growth but also encourage healthy eating habits from an early age.
Fluency in Italian and proficiency in another language is required for this role.
