Channel Sales Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Channel Sales Manager to lead our strategic efforts in the Italy. The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for the targeted recruitment and activation of Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and MSPs. You will collaborate closely with, Technology Alliance Ecosystem partners and Hardware Vendors to drive revenue and growth.

We enable organizations to free themselves from cost and complexity while securing and deriving value from their data.
Unlike our competitors, who try to overcome the differences in small business and computing edge environments by forcing customers to adopt over-provisioned datacenter-class solutions, we have specifically designed our software for demanding environments where resources, space, and budgets are limited.
Most high availability (HA) solutions require three or more servers. Stor Magic’s storage (Sv SAN) and hyperconverged infrastructure (Sv HCI) solutions provide HA using only two servers and a remote witness, which can support up to 1,000 clusters. This alone can save businesses at least 33% on server hardware and software costs per site.
Our product strategy is to deliver the simplest, yet most advanced edge computing platform so customers can store, protect, and manage their data at and from the edge.
The Role
As a valuable member of the Stor Magic team in the EMEA region, you will work remotely to identify, onboard, and activate new channel partners. Your primary focus will be to integrate Stor Magic into their sales and marketing strategies, advocate for the value of our solutions, and support them in meeting the needs of end-users. Stor Magic offers an exceptional Partner Program that includes free training and marketing resources, making it a valuable asset for our channel sales teams.

You will be responsible for:
Channel Management:
- Own the pipeline building, management, and CRM hygiene in your territory.
- Collaborate with partners, recruit VARs and MSPs, and enable them.
- Implement GTM strategies, ensure partner focus on Stor Magic, and conduct QBRs.
- Engage with end-users, maintain strong relationships, and achieve sales targets.
- Foster communication and collaboration with internal teams.
- Efficiently manage expenses and travel.
- Collaborate with partners to align their resources with Stor Magic's revenue goals.
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and activate VARs and MSPs.
- Implement GTM strategies and enable focused partners.
- Achieve sales targets, maintain strong relationships, and communicate effectively.
- Utilise CRM tools to identify prospects and forecast opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 3+ years of experience in technology channel sales (within the server storage space preferably)
- Regional experience within Italy is essential.
- Strong organisational skills, goal-setting, and follow-up.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across various functions, including Marketing, Sales Operations, Pre-Sales, and Product Development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative team player willing to contribute positively to the team's success.
- Previous experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English (C1 to C2) and Italian (C2) language skills.
