Responsibilities and challenges
You will be part of a dedicated local marine team of colleagues whose competencies spends from coastal to marine engineering (waves, currents, sediment transport and water quality) with a specific focus on numerical modeling. Also you will work closely with a global team solving challenges all other water environments (fresh waters, groundwaters, urban, etc.).

You will be part of a dedicated local marine team of colleagues whose competencies spends from coastal to marine engineering (waves, currents, sediment transport and water quality) with a specific focus on numerical modeling. The main responsibilities and challenges in the job are:
- Coastal protections studies
- Metocean analysis
- Marine data collection and analysis
- Setup and calibration of numerical models
- Setup and maintenance of Decision Support Systems
- Project management
- Advise clients through specific domain expertise in coastal, ports and marine engineering
Qualifications and personal skills
We are looking for a young new colleague who will join us on our quest in solving the world’s water problems and have the following qualifications:
- Fluent Italian and English is mandatory
- Education within coastal and marine engineering
- Some working experience within coastal and marine engineering will be highly appreciated
- Experience in numerical modelling as in marine data processing will be an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- It will be an advantage to have competences in Matlab, Python and programming languages
