Posizione:

We’re looking for a Control Engineer to join the Control Engineering team who can work on the design of the software needed for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects and related products.

The Control Engineer will have to work on three main areas:
1. Follow the execution projects, implementing the software technical specifications prepared by the project engineering team;
2. Support the R&D team in new products software development and testbench software management;
3. Support the proposal team in the production of documentation on control systems that may be required during the bidding phase.

The Control Engineer will have to deal directly with the software automation standardization, seeking always for new features and producing suitable instructions for the commissioning teams.

Tasks and Duties

• Provide technical support and cooperate with the Project Execution, Project Development, R&D and Commissioning teams;
• Prepare software documentation in accordance with project and product Engineering Plans (software technical specifications, HW architecture diagrams, HMI descriptions…);
• Perform technical feasibility and/or cost-benefit analysis of requested features for various projects (both Execution and R&D);
• Develop the control software for the NHOA BESS in accordance with project technical specification;
• Develop the control software for the NHOA products in accordance with the product technical specifications;
• Develop Level w software for the NHOA BESS in accordance with project technical specification;
• Troubleshoot software issues after its deployment (in-house or on-site tests);
• Update the software developed according to stress tests performed in-house or on-site;
• Support to the Commissioning team on FAT, on-site testing and SAT activities.

Requisiti:

Technical Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical / automation / electronic / informatic engineering;
• Knowledge of programming languages (Matlab, Phyton, C, Visual Basic, My SQL, Java…);
• Knowledge of PLC SW development tool such as S7, TIA PORTAL - the knowledge of Siemens PLC suite will be considered preferential;
• Good knowledge of English;
• Willingness to international business trip to follow plants commissioning (not main activity);

Nice to have (if any):

• Knowledge of stationary electrochemical storage technologies is a plus;
• Knowledge of how to read E-plan electrical CAD schemes is a plus;
