Who will join our “Public Affairs & Media Relations” department. This role will play a crucial part in transforming global stakeholder engagement opportunities into strategic B2B collaborations. Reporting directly to the Director of Public Affairs, the focus will be on identifying and developing business opportunities that align with our commitment to consumer protection and empowerment, in coordination with other functions like policy, fundraising and litigation. The successful candidate will drive business development initiatives while fostering synergies between corporate stakeholders and our mission, with a strong emphasis on project management.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with global corporate partners on a European global scale, identifying synergies that can create mutual value for both our organization and collaborating businesses.
• Business Development: Lead efforts to transform stakeholder engagement opportunities into B2B partnerships, aligning these collaborations with our focus on consumer protection and empowerment.
• Planning &Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring seamless collaboration across various functions within the Public Affairs department and other key departments. Provide regular updates on business development progress, analyze key performance indicators, and offer strategic insights to senior leadership.
• Consumer-Centric Approach: Ensure that all initiatives are grounded in a consumer protection and empowerment framework, aligning with the organization’s values.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Law or Business Administration (master’s degree preferred).
• At least 3 years of international experience in business development, account management, or stakeholder engagement, ideally within a consumer-focused environment and with a public affair understanding.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex initiatives and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience in global companies with focus in international market development; familiarity with market research and business needs analysis.
• Proven partnership management experience.
• Ability to build long term relationships through influence and negotiation.
• Experience in a consumer protection or advocacy framework is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required; additional language skills are a plus.

• Able to deal with complexity and adapt to changing business priorities.

Location: Italy based - Milan or Rome but ready to travel and operate internationally.
