What This Job Involves

As a key member of JLL, a successful candidate will be responsible for Markets Retail Italy, supporting JLL’s organizational goals and objectives through efforts to:
Motivational leader with a focus on the delivery of strategic solutions;
Connecting all various business lines to lead cross functional teams and create reliable integrated services to transform the Real Estate through a value-added Retail services;
Create strategic partnerships and alliances to support the completion of strategic objectives;
Enhancing key client objectives to the highest international standards with emphasis on programme, budget control, quality, safety, health and environment;
A collaborative team player with the intellect, vision and drive to promote fresh approaches to drive innovation and efficiency across the business;
Promote growth and transformation;
Optimize key resources;
Leverage functional interdependencies.

Responsibilities of the Director, Retail Agency & Tenant Representation
Developing and managing Business Strategy and objectives in line with JLL ambitions to foster the growth;
Expanding the current array of professional services in line with Markets Italy plan;
Defining and owning the financial responsibilities of Retail team;
Developing Retail business and creating down the line business for other BUs to enhance JLL positioning and market share;
Exhibiting a complete understanding of company's corporate governance policies and procedures and ensuring they are adhered to within work group;
Develop end-to-end management and consultancy solutions for landlords (developers, investors) and occupiers alike;
Manage the overall success of Retail activities, effectively developing and driving the business, budget, schedule, team/s, roles & responsibilities, stakeholder approvals, and identifying the risks and mitigation/corrective measures;
Leading and supporting staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention;
Leading by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the company's values;
Interacting regularly with clients to ensure that goals and objectives are established and achieved. Developing and implementing action plans to correct variances;
Anticipating and responding to client's needs and concerns;
Ability to present complex ideas to large audience with confidence and clarity.

Skills and attributes
The Director Retail Agency & Tenant Rep must have a strategic thinking attitude, be objective driven and technology oriented with a consolidated experience. He or she must have the following:
Experience in providing RE Strategic Consultancy Services;
Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved;
Strong leadership and management skills;
Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures;
Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems;
Strong understanding of different cultures, terrains, and environments;
Flexibility and readiness to travel as needed;
Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
Good listening and understanding skills and an international mind-set.
Working team spirit;
Previous experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring and evaluating professionals at various levels within the organization/team.
Relevant track record and ability in managing large scale, complex and multidisciplinary projects internationally;

As successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Master’s degree in economics, engineering or architecture, business, or related field;
Experience10+ years in retail sector and with specific expertise in managing major complex projects;
Proficient in English, both written and oral;
Broker License would be a plus;
Exposure to corporate real estate will be an added advantage.
