Internship - Lean Engineer

Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire a Lean Engineer to join our Production Management Team in Colognola ai Colli, Verona, Italy. The right incumbent will be responsible for implementing and maintaining lean manufacturing principles within the company's production processes.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Identify areas within the production process that can benefit from lean manufacturing principles
- Investigate and drive initiatives together with local stakeholders, define best-practices and trigger implementation
- Upgrade of existing standard operating processes / production methods to achieve reduction of production cost
- Ensure the implementation of agreed targets and roadmaps according to our Lean program
- Continuous learning of key developments in Lean
- Contribute to building and sustaining a culture of engagement in all levels of the business
- Drive Lean Manufacturing mindset across the local organization by engaging teams and individuals Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Good technical skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to work in projects that involve a combination of technical skills such as mechanical, electrical, and automation.
