Senior Accountant (Tax specialist)

Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire a Senior Accountant,located in our Italian plant in Colognola ai Colli (VR) .
Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes:
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Prepare local financial statements according to schedule
  • Ensure tax compliance in all respects according to local legislation
  • Preparation of income tax return, VAT declarations and any other tax related regulatory reports.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
  • Reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc.
Requirements
  • BSc/Ba or college degree in Accounting
  • Proven relevant experience of min, 6 years at an industrial or trading company
  • Knowledge of Tax and Payroll issues (although processed externally)
  • SAP Knowledge is a must
  • Good command of English (oral and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Very good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (Local GAAP & IFRS)
  • Excellent organizing abilities & problem solving skills
