Marketing Manager Italy

The role and team
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing all marketing activities for Storytel Italy, ensuring they align with both short-term and long-term goals, including customer acquisition targets.
Working in collaboration with our central marketing team and Italian Country Manager, you will identify new opportunities for growth and brand loyalty. You will also closely cooperate with internal departments such as Content and Partnerships, as well as with external collaborators. The role includes both strategic and operational elements and you need to be the “Swiss army knife” for marketing. The role is based in Milan and will report to the Italian Country Manager.

The role and team

Responsibilities

Define and manage a yearly marketing plan

Cost control and follow-up on the marketing budget

Contribute with local expertise in Italy strategy work

Plan, manage and execute marketing projects and campaigns for e.g. category building and stories

Conduct after-action reviews & share learnings
-
Cooperate with external collaborators around e.g. social media management, press office, influencers and partnerships

Manage online campaigns and some asset creation

Support and collaborate with central marketing teams to optimise performance marketing, SEO, A/B testing, CLM etc.
About you
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have/are

Solid experience in a similar position
-
Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken

Experience from creatively setting up offline and online campaigns with a big impact in relation to input

Experience from B2C, ideally digital subscription service

Experience working with partnerships and influencers

Experience working with project management
-
Commercial mindset and a can-do attitude
-
A team player that thrives in new challenges and ever-changing circumstances
