The Neuroscience and Society Research Unit (https://nes.iit.it/) is coordinated by Prof. Salvatore Maria Aglioti, who has extensive experience in several social neuroscience topics ranging from empathy for pain and existential neuroscience to social interactions and neuroscience of morality.

• Developing a strategy for the creation of the platform hardware and software, identification of components to be used and noninvasive recording and stimulation devices to be interfaced

• Identification of devices to be interfaced.

• Manuscript preparation

• Scientific dissemination

• Communication and outreach

• Participating in national and international Grant writing;

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE

• A Ph D in Psychology or Behavioral Neuroscience, including Social Neuroscience or similar

• Experience in non-invasive stimulation devices, non-invasive electrophysiological devices, electronics, code programming, CAD software, medical and non-medical devices interfacing.

• A strong scientific production record, including publications, submitted articles, articles in preparation and conference submissions

• The ability to properly report, organize and publish research data.

• Good command in spoken and written English.

• Experience in engineering related fields (preferred biomedical engineering),electroencephalography, electrocardiography, electrogastrography, thermal imaging, skin conductance response, magnetic stimulation, focused ultrasounds, electric stimulation systems.

• Advanced knowledge of Matlab, Python, Autodesk Fusion 360

• Good communication skills

• Strong problem-solving attitude

• High motivation to learn

• Spirit of innovation and creativity

• Good in time and priority management

• Ability to work in a challenging and international environment

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment

• Ability to supervise projects comprising multidisciplinary teams.

• Intersectoral experience with NGOs and event organizing skills for translational applications of research
