The Quotation Technical Support Project Manager provides sales technical support to regions (PMP’s and AM’s) in the management of complex offers to be delivered to structured customers and & KA’s by doing offers in full or just intervening in the management of out of standard options. That professional role will be primarily dedicated to the Verona Tunnel Machines. The support does not cover only technical matters, it is a proactive high added value consultancy provided to regions focused on value selling to propose the best fitting solutions, based on customer typology, with special attention to TCO, OEE, sustainability and digitalization.

Your Mission

The Quotation Technical Support Project Manager is responsible for:

• Delivering on time and in full quotations to regions (for stand-alone and complete line projects), in case of complex projects with structured customers & KA’s, interfacing, when needed, with Product Manager, Platform Owner and Technical Office, from business opportunity creation to project KO, ensuring quotations meet customer technical requirements and no cost deviations are declared at project kick-off meeting;
• Complementing standard offers managed by PMP’s with out of standard options to meet specific customer needs;
• Proactively guiding PMP’s and AM’s in proposing solutions, fitting customer needs and priorities at best, starting from our standardized solutions;
• Providing assistance to regions in building value selling argumentation (strengths vs. competition, differentiation elements, TCO, etc.);
• Ensuring risk assessment and mitigation plans are in place for critical offers;
• Attending customer inhouse meetings, to support PMP’s and AM’s.
• Contributing to the management and the update of the configuration and offering tools

Your Profile

• Technical professional qualification or bachelor’s degree in engineering
• English fluent, written and spoken
• Knowledge of physics, computer, mechanics
• Knowledge of automation and regulation
• Knowledge of project management techniques
• Strong knowledge of different packaging line disciplines (mechanical, electrical/automation, industrial and processing)
• Basic knowledge relative to the industrial field (production, utilities, logistics, project engineering, ergonomics, hygiene,
• safety and security, etc.)
• Beverage knowledge
• Strong customer orientation
• Knowledge of MS Project and MS Office
• Knowledge of CAD
