Duties and responsibilities

• Independent analysis and observation of the international procurement market
• Management of international purchasing activities for existing and new projects
• Identification, assessment and development of suppliers, support in qualification
• Conduct price negotiations and develop cost reduction potential as well as “make or buy” concepts
• Drafting and negotiating purchasing contracts (including service, work and framework contracts) with suppliers
• Collaboration in supplier audits

Professional competencies

• Successfully completed studies in the field of economics, industrial engineering or a comparable degree
• Professional experience in the above-mentioned or comparable position, desirable in an international environment
• Very good knowledge of English

• Strong negotiation skills as well as very good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong analytical and strategic skills as well as negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel, including short assignments at other B. Braun Avitum locations
