Position Summary:
The role is to assign and direct all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operation. The incumbent will manage associates, foster a positive environment, and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. The incumbent will also have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales target achievement.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall commercial goals and objectives for the business portfolio
  
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
  
• Direct all operational aspects including business development, operations, customer service, human resources, administration and quality
  
• Responsible for training, coaching, and associate development
  
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
  
• Stay informed of market dynamics affecting the business including customer, competitors and regulation and communication action plans to management
  
• Address customer and employee feedback promptly
  
• Collaborate with regional functions to achieve goals and deliver the plan
  
• Responsible for Local Occupational Safety and Health guidelines
  
• The holder of the position is obligated to perform
  
• in addition to the above-described tasks, individual tasks assigned by his/her superiors, which are to be seen by their nature as part of his/her work area, or which arise out of necessity
  
• The incumbent must inform and advise corporate management in a timely manner on:
  
• Replacement and new investments are plan-able in a timely and effective manner, under consideration of all relevant issues of the branch office
  
• Recognize and eliminate problems related to the social infrastructure of the branch office
  

Reports Directly To:
Country Manager or equivalent

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field. Knowledge in the logistics and pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  

Skills and Knowledge:

• Relevant direct pharmaceutical industry experience in transport logistics
  
• At least 5 years of leadership experience and proven track record in achieving company objectives and goals
  
• Experience in developing and implementing business plans
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  
• Strong analytical, situational leadership and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  
• Experience/skill in air-shipments operations, both import and export
  
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
  
• Good verbal and written communication
  
• Proficiency in PC skills
  
• Good international & domestic geographic knowledge
  
• Proficiency in Cold Chain & Dangerous Goods knowledge
