Job Overview

Provides health care to patients by performing assessment including ordering and interpreting diagnostic services, physical exams and assessment of medical records. Develops educational plan as needed according to age specifics. Provides therapeutic treatment according to age specific therapies. Collaborates with physicians according to unit specific policy and procedure
Qualifications
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Nutrition Science or closely related field and two to three years of work related experience. Diabetic Educator certification by NCBDE required. Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey OR certification as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Requires analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment, attention to detail and problem resolution. Must possess strong customer service, communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.
