Looking for a couple of native level English speakers to work as teachers at a private Eikaiwa/Englishschool.
We are opening a second school in Takanohara (Nara City) after running an English school successfully in Tomigaoka (Gakuenmaearea of Nara City) for over 20 years.
So you may work at the Takanohara school if you like.
アピールポイント:
We provide textbooks and teaching materials, but we will leave you to learn how to use them. We don’t have teaching workshops, but instead we have regular meetings with other skilled teachers to share tips and help with problems in order to improve lesson quality.
While our teachers closely communicate to help each other, they are also autonomous and independent, as they all have individual theories about teaching.

Native level English speaker
with casual Japanese communication skills
Educational background:
College degree (no specific department required)
Bachelor, Master, Doctor’s degrees will be appreciated
we are open to considering applicants who have a high school diploma but possess relevant skills and experience.
Area:
We are seeking job applicants who currently reside in the Kansai area of Japan, particularly in Nara-shi.
Characteristic we are looking for:
Devoted teachers who are good with kids
1. Teacher for preschool kids
Specific job content:
Teach kids’ English words using flash cards
Teach kids how to read using phonics
Teach kids pronunciation and intonation through songs and chants
Teach kids how to read and write the alphabet.
(We will provide materials)
2. Teacher for 1st graders to 6th graders
Specific job content :
As students get older, they start to read longer sentences and the textbooks they use are more sophisticated.
This requires teachers to be able to make both short term and long term goals throughout the year for kids to accomplish the levels they need to reach. Lessons need to be not only be effective but also be interactive and attractive so that kids can learn the joy of communicating in English and more.

Work schedule:
A minimum of once a week, 2 sessions ( 40min/45min/60min depending on student level); maximum of 4 times a week within our business hours, which are from Monday to Saturday.
We are open Monday to Friday from 3pm to 9pm.
On Saturdays we are open from 10am - 5pm.
Within this you can choose the hours you want to work.
Some teachers have just one lesson per day, others have about five.
We will match your requirements.
休暇・休日:
Under the shift-work system, your days off will be those when you don't have lessons.
The school has several consecutive holidays in addition to the New Year holiday and the Golden Week holiday.

・Tomigaoka school （15 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Gakuenmae Station,or a 5-minute bus ride and a 1-minute walk from the bus stop.）
You may work at the Takanohara school if you like. （4 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Takanohara station）
