The Japan Times Agency, which handles advertorial and sponsored content for The Japan Times, is seeking freelance writers to cover a variety of subjects, including tourism, government, business, SDGs, culture, food, and more.
This position is fully remote but may require in-person interviews or attendance at events to be covered.

●Can conduct interviews in Japanese.
●Can create articles based on Japanese materials.
●Has experience producing engaging English content.
●Can understand and follow directions on content creation and story angles and requirements.
●Can work with story coordinators and editors on feedback, and revisions.
●Has an interest in Japanese culture, traditions, recent social events, or other areas.
●Can adhere to strict deadlines.
