Salary: $100,000-$119,600

Program Director
Under general direction of the Vice-President, you will be responsible for the overall clinical management and administrative operations of assigned program. You will manage and monitor the job performance of all program employees; ensure the quality of clinical services provided to persons served and the communications between program employees and agency administration.
What You Will Do

• Supervise environment to ensure that behavioral guidelines are followed, a therapeutic environment is maintained and interpersonal relationships remain positive.
• Monitor quality, effectiveness and efficiency of program’s clinical services and safety of environment of care.
• Manage program services, improves existing services and develops new treatment components to meet needs of persons served.
• Help develop, implement and deploy agency policy and procedures.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to program staff.
• Interview, hire, train, appraise, discipline/terminate subordinate staff
• Provide administrative supervision for plant operations; ensures a safe environment of care.
• Ensure clinical staff maintains accurate, complete and timely records that comply with regulatory standards and agency internal policy and procedure.
• Ensure that all program staff upholds the agency's Code of Conduct/Code of Ethics and comply with all Federal, state and local law/regulation, including 42 CFR confidentiality and HIPAA privacy and security regulations.

Who You Will Be

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling or Psychology with Four-Six (4-6) years’ exp in substance use and/or mental health treatment. Plus, at least Three-Five (3-5) years administrative/supervisory experience in the field of addiction and/or mental health for designated programs.

AND

• OASAS CASAC certification (Advanced or Master Level) if not a licensed NYSED Qualified Health Professional (QHP) for designated programs.

AND

• OASAS Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II (30 hours): Successful completion required by all Advanced and Master Level CASACs within one year of hire date for designated programs.

OR

• A licensed NYSED Qualified Health Professional (QHP) with licensure as LMSW or LMHC or LCSW or Psychologist with at least Four-Six (4-6) years’ experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment. Plus, least Three-Five (3-5) years administrative/supervisory experience in the field of addiction and/or mental health
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatments, managed care principles, and behavior practices.
