JR65864 System Architect
As MBU System Architect in mobile business unit, you will be a leader for memory system innovation and develop new or differentiated LPDRAM and NAND mobile system features, architectures and packages. You will be responsible to identify mobile usage cases and mobile system needs which are requiring LPDRAM/NAND spec change and/or architecture change. You will need to work with internal teams and customers closely, define proposals with system and design experts within Micron. You will also lead technical discussions with chipset vendors and customers and enable new features and/or architectures.
Your roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following areas.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key ecosystem partners and customers to understand mobile market trends and mobile system needs in next generation mobile systems.
• Define mobile usage model through the identified mobile market trends and mobile system needs, which are required architecture, feature and package changes in next generation Micron LPDRAM/NAND products
• Work with internal cross functional teams to identify new architecture, feature and package proposals to achieve the mobile usage model and deliver industry leading products to customers
• Help component planning team and specification development team providing good communication internally and externally.
• Lead new technology promotion/enablement at chipset vendors and customers
• Maintain coordination with MBU Pathfinding, PLM and marketing
• Coordinates with other technologists at Micron
• Participate at customer technical meetings and present and discuss

Qualifications

• 10 years+ DRAM or NAND development engineering experience or mobile system engineering experience
• Familiar with mobile computing systems including AI application
• Understand mobile market trend and needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and team building skill; ability to work cross functional and boundaries.
• BS/MS/Ph D in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Science or related field
