Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling new radiators cores by soldering, repairing radiators, changing tanks, repairing leaks, overhauling, testing, and changing gaskets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Pressure testing of radiators and identifying the defects.
· Receive new core, dismantle and assemble the radiator, tank, side bracket, fan cover and cap.
· Soldering header plates, and tanks, make gasket and fix nut-bolt.
· Repairing leaks, overhauling, changing tanks, and cleaning the radiator before passing to the painter.
· Cleaning the copper and aluminium radiator with chemicals and acid.
· Assessing damages in specific radiators and providing report to the workshop in-charge for every job.
· Fixing and assembling 4 sectional radiator.
Knowledge:
· Knowledge of handling radiators, gaskets, hose pipes and side brackets.
· Knowledge of welding, soldering, and braising the leaks.
· Knowledge of safety procedures and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) while working with radiators, especially at the time of handling acid.
Skills:
· Problem Solving skills.
· Soldering and basic knowledge of braising of bars, aluminium .. etc.
· Multi-Tasking.
Qualifications:
· SSLC (10th Class Certificate).
· Read and write (Hindi or English).
3 years experience minimum
