Compensation: Paid Internship € 2508.23/per month/ 40hrs per week /full time.

Specific offers within the listed pay ranges are determined by a variety of factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and business needs.

Responsibilities:
The Accountant Intern will be responsible for keeping the books of certain subsidiaries and assist the team in various admin functions.

Intern will need a technical accounting background and be enrolled in a Bachelor's/Masters of Accounting program.

Essential Job Functions:
Accounting

Maintain accounting records: Execution of daily transactions for companies based in Asia Pacific

Production of AP and AR reconciliations

Produce the reconciliation between bank statements and General Ledger transactions

Ensure booking of invoices and follow-up of payments providing supplier control reconciliation

Assist in the preparation of VATIGST returns

Assist in the preparation of Tax and annual tax returns

Prepare monthly, quarterly and Annual closing

Controlling and SOX

Assist in the preparation of the Company's yearly Sarbanes Oxley internal control documentation

Assist in the preparation of Quarterly and Year end audit documentation

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will:
Be enrolled at a university pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Accounting

Compulsory Internship (Stage Obligatoire)

Good command of Excel

Demonstrate initiative. Be service minded. Strong desire to learn.

Be fluent in English. Other languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese would be a plus

** Intern must have legal authorization to work in Luxembourg

Work Environment:
This is an in-office position, based in Luxembourg
