We are looking for a proactive team player who can contribute innovative ideas, particularly in the digitalization of accounting processes and automation of tasks in collaboration with our in-house engineering team.

Tasks

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our growing team in Luxembourg.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing our annual accounts, maintaining up-to-date investment records, preparing quarterly Net Asset Value (NAV) statements and coordinating our annual audit process. This role requires a strong understanding of Luxembourg accounting practices, securitisation undertaking and investment management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Annual Accounts Preparation:
• Prepare, review, and finalize the annual accounts for the central securitisation vehicle in compliance with Luxembourg GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, external accounting firms and legal teams to ensure timely submission of financial statements.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records.
• Provide accurate information to our CEO for investor reporting purposes.
• Investment Record Maintenance:
• Keep detailed and up-to-date records of all investment transactions and holdings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and record investment performance, valuations, and cash flows.
• Reconcile investment records with bank statements, custodian reports, and other relevant documentation.
• NAV Calculation and Reporting:
• Calculate quarterly Net Asset Value (NAV) statements for various private market investments.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of NAVs, including the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of investor reports and respond to investor inquiries regarding NAV calculations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA) is an advantage.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within the financial services or securitisation sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and experience in preparing financial statements.
• Familiarity with securitisation vehicles and private market investments is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work in a fast-pace environement
