ARHS Group - Part of Accenture is seeking a talented CMDB Architect (m/f) to join our dynamic team!
He/She will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise CMDB, with a primary focus on BMC CMDB and relevant skills on Service Now CMDB paving the way to possible migration in the near future.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design and implement CMDB solutions using BMC CMDB provided functionality and features
- Explore possible approaches for a smooth migration to Service Now CMDB
- Manage integration between CMDB and ITSM solution in place, i.e. Service Now ITSM, as well as further automating the integration with the Dev Ops chain/tooling
- Manage upgrades, patches, and updates for CMDB systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Address security vulnerabilities and implement best practices for securing CMDB environments
- Manage multiple environments and cluster deployments effectively, ensuring high availability and performance
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and operational procedures
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to CMDB, ITSM, and Dev Ops automation
- Identify, analyze, design, implement, and test enhancements or bug fixes to the current systems management infrastructure to meet changing requirements and increase productivity
- Provide administrative support for configuration and proper operation of CMDB tools used by operational teams
- Respond to technical Level 3 support tickets for CMDB features and configuration
- Help service owners translate business needs into CMDB requirements
- Deploy in production and assist the operations team to manage the CMDB in various environments
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a senior CMDB Administrator/expert
- Excellent BMC CMDB hands-on implementation knowledge
- ITSM and ITIL v3 framework and solutions for Enterprise Service Management is a critical differentiator
- Expert knowledge of BMC Atrium CMDB and AR System / Spoon ETL
- Dev Ops tooling such as Jenkins, Ansible, Git is a significant differentiator
- Operating systems knowledge such as Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of shell (such as ksh, bash, Power Shell) and interpreted programming languages such as Python
- Implementation experience in various integration methodologies and have performed integrations of applications
- Exposure to Dev Ops and Infrastructure as Code
- Exposure to Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to cloud hyperscalers such as Amazon Web services (AWS), Azure, GCP is an asset
- Experience with RDBMS products such as Oracle and SQL Server
- Experience with integration to third party system using RESTFul, SOAP APIs
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
