Luxaviation Group is looking for a qualified candidate to join our Group Business Intelligence team in the role of Data Engineer, based in Luxembourg.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses
  • Design, develop and manage BI models in a Datawarehouse (star schemas, snowflakes)
  • Prepare data for analysis, ensuring it is organized and accessible
  • Interact with Business Users to identify, document and implement business rules
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring solutions to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to support data visualization and reporting needs
  • Provide support and user training for company reporting tools
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data engineering practices


Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge


Essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, designing ETL, data warehouse solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica, ADF)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing
  • Good knowledge of data visualization tools (g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java


Desirable
  • Any data related certification or training program is considered an advantage
  • Business Aviation experience is an advantage
  • Experience with cloud tools
