Senior Product Owner
Join the innovative team at EY Luxembourg’s Digital Factory as a Senior Product Owner and play a pivotal role in shaping digital products that revolutionize the asset and wealth management industry. You will be instrumental in driving the development of leading-edge solutions that align with our strategic goals, leveraging your expertise to manage product lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond. Play a key role in strategizing, developing, and optimizing our innovative solutions. Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across various business verticals and global locations.
Digital Factory Luxembourg is a diverse group of digital experts, including designers, developers, AI specialists, and business professionals. We develop industry-leading solutions across software development, analytics, artificial intelligence, and more.
Your key responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Technology Alignment: Develop a clear product vision and strategy that integrates advanced technology solutions to meet business and market needs. Ensure products leverage the latest in software development, AI, and data analytics.
- Bridge the gap between business and technology: Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements between business and development teams. Work closely with developers, designers, and business analysts to ensure a cohesive product strategy.
- Backlog and Technical Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing the needs of stakeholders and customers while maintaining technical integrity of the product. Utilizing technical skills to ensure solutions are feasible and scalable.
- Collaborate for impact: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation. and ensure product requirements are clearly understood and implemented.Collaborating with stakeholders for requirements gathering.
- Leadership: Mentor and support junior product managers and team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvementranslating business needs into product requirements.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree or Ph D in a relevant field is a strong plus.
- At least 7 years of experience in product development in the financial services sector, with a proven track record of successful product launches in tech-driven environments.
- Strong analytical and project management skills, deep understanding of Agile methodologies, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Technical skills and solid experience in cloud-based development, preferably Azure.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English; proficiency in German/French would be an added advantage.
