Your area of work:
Credit and risk management are elementary components of the management and control function of Clearstream. The Credit Monitoring team is responsible for overseeing overall credit risks, identifying potential threats to the company’s interests, and support implementing appropriate countermeasures.
Additionally, we ensure compliance with key regulations governing credit and Clearstream’s specific activities. As an intern, you will actively participate in our processes and be offered learning opportunities through engaging and challenging tasks within a diverse and dynamic team.


Your responsibilities:
  • You will support the team in the identification and investigation of credit risks and breaches ensuring strict adherence to credit policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the team’s processes, tools and the documentation through either automation or optimization of the task’s workflows.
  • You will have the possibility to assess the impact of new laws, circulars and regulations on our activity – suitable for a profile with a Legal background.
  • You will assist on the documentation (technical documents drafting, procedures writing, etc.) as well as organisational and administrative tasks.
  • The tasks above will be adapted to your profile and interests. A more research focused internship related to credit or risk from a different field of study could be considered depending on the area of focus.


Your profile:

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program with a recognized institution and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months.
  • We accept a wide range of academic backgrounds (finance, economics, mathematics, ergonomics, law focused on financial regulations, humanistic sciences, etc.) as long as the area of research and/or your professional interest match the tasks described above.
  • You are interested in areas of credit and risk management.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Focus and attention to detail are required. Technical writing skills are welcome.
  • You have very good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Power Bi). Knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL are welcome.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.
