A leading German-based investment firm with a global presence is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Luxembourg team. Specializing in fund infrastructure and real estate, this company manages a range of internal holdings across multiple asset classes worldwide. They are looking for a dedicated accountant to manage the financial operations of their internal structures.
Senior Accountant - Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting for internal holdings, including general ledger entries, balance sheets, and financial statements
  • Prepare and review annual financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders
  • Oversee tax compliance and prepare tax filings in accordance with Luxembourg regulations
  • Collaborate with the internal legal, risk, and portfolio management teams to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Work with external auditors during the annual audit process
  • Assist in optimizing and automating accounting processes to improve efficiency
Senior Accountant - Your profile:
  • 3 to 6 years of experience as an accountant, ideally within a service provider/AIF or fiduciary working with financial clients
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (a Master's degree or professional certifications like ACCA would be a plus)
  • Strong understanding of Luxembourg GAAP and relevant accounting standards
  • Fluency in German and English is essential
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
