emma takes care of managing virtual computing power, controls resources statuses, integrates into networks, provides predictive analytics and insights of resource usage broken down by funds spent, manages budgets and teams, automatically deploys software, performs cross-provider infrastructure migration, manages backups, and more. There is a lot emma does, but we've got even more in store for the platform's development, and that is why we are expanding our team: to advance even faster.
Position
As a senior data engineer, you're responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining solutions that supply emma clients with all the necessary analytics data. The data includes regular analytic charts and dashboards, detailed and granular raw information, statistical information, logs and alerts, extrapolated resource usage cross-matched with cloud costs, as well as auto-generated insights and recommendations. emma empowers its clients to build cost-effective infrastructure on any cloud, mitigating vendor lock-in, and your job is to provide all the data to keep such multi-cloud infrastructure optimized.
Responsibilities
  • Manage large data volumes and ensure a seamless data flow
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using Kafka, Airflow, and Click House
  • Oversee and maintain the health of the DWH cluster in Click House, including node management and scaling
  • Process, verify, load, and ensure data quality and consistency across databases
  • Administer the DWH and prepare data for user dashboards and training machine learning models
Your qualification
  • From five years upwards commercial experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with Click House as a data engineer, architect, or DBA
  • Experience of using Kafka as the data source
  • Hands-on experience of building and maintaining ETL pipelines by using Airflow
