Shift Leader (Mercury plant) (m/f)

The opportunity:
Currently we are looking for a Shift Leader to join our team in Mercury factory in Dudelange. On this position you will:
- Lead operators in terms of following and improving the safety regulations continuously and detecting safety hazards.
- Ensure quality standards and meeting daily production requirements.
- Manage the operators during their shift in order to achieve the daily objectives based on KPIs.
- Ensure the training of the operators to guarantee a skilled and flexible workforce.
- Motivate and engage operators through leading by example.
- Ensure a good communication between operators and the leadership team.
- Manage vacation planning and anticipate work force needs.
- Provide efficient shift hand-over communication.
To join our team you will need the following qualifications:

Shift leading experience (minimum 1-2 years) - 5+ years of working experience in manufacturing environment is a considerable asset
We are looking for the following skills:
- Good knowledge of English. French and or German are considered an asset
- Good problem-solving skills and self-initiative
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills - combined with the capability to lead and coach co-workers
- Results-driven and ability to influence associates to achieve common goals
- Sense of urgency and commitment to resolve issues.
- Position requires shift, evening, night and weekend work assignments
- Desire to coach associates, develop situational leadership skills, take responsibility of shift results
