Technician Ground Equipment Shop (Locksmith Welder)

- Welding, Locksmith and Assembly work of steel structure.
- Perform metal work with machine like sawing and drilling.
- Perform maintenance checks, service and repair on ground equipment.
- Follow all company procedures, work processes and manufacturers’ manuals and specifications.
- Perform their duties according to agreed working schedules.
- Suggest modifications for improved safety and utilization.
- Accomplished apprenticeship in welding and iron works with at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field
- Good knowledge of welding, locksmith and assembly work (railing, metal deck, fencing, staircase)
- Good knowledge to read technical drawings.
- Be able to work independently and show initiative in solving problems
- Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages are considered as an advantage
- Team spirit
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
- Position based in Luxembourg
- B driving license required, C driving license considered as an advantage
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
- The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
