V.I.E. Risk Analyst- H/F/X

Responsibilities
We are looking for a V.I.E. to join Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) Luxembourg's risk department! The team oversees operational and credit risks. It also coordinates outsourced deliverables and follows up audit recommendations, regulators, and second-level internal control for the SGSS management. The main tasks of this department are to:
  • ensure that risks are identified, analyzed, measured and monitored
  • report on operational risks to management and define risk appetite with management
  • coordinate managerial supervision
  • follow new products committees
  • supervise and monitor outsourced services; recommendations of audit missions
SGSS wishes to strengthen its risk management structure. Reporting to the head of the department responsible for risk control of its securities activities, the V.I.E.'s main tasks will be to:
  • apply the Risk policy in accordance with the SG Group Guidelines
  • implement risk tools within a specific business area(s)
  • contribute to the development of the perimeter allocated
  • analyze the operational loss
  • analyze of Credit Risk Indicators
  • identify and monitor of risk areas and solutions
  • analyze of new products and services
  • post risks according to the SGSS operating logic, by process and by operational channel
  • widely disseminate risk culture
In addition to tracking operational risks, the V.I.E. will also work on transformation and innovation by digitizing team dashboards and contribute to the department's efficiency (optimize and streamline processes and data management using Alteryx and Power BI technologies).
Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.
Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.
Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Banking/Finance
  • A previous experience in Banking/Finance would be appreciated
Language skills:
  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong listening and analytical skills
  • Proactivity, spearheading of proposals
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
