Responsibilities

We are expanding our development team in Kuala Lumpur and are looking for a talented Android Developer. You’ll be part of a dynamic team working with state-of-the-art technologies in the finance industry to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers. As an Android Developer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional engineers from diverse cultural and technical backgrounds.As an Android Developer, your responsibilities will include:Contributing to the development of high-quality solutions using a modern technology stack.Designing and implementing new features, including APIs, database structures, or integrations with internal systems and third-party providers.Employing best practices by writing unit and integration tests as part of the organization's development framework.Actively participating in team discussions, sharing insights, and collaborating with colleagues.Working closely with business and development teams across Denmark, Malaysia, Lithuania, and India.Upholding the highest standards of integrity established by the team in collaboration with our business partners.Leveraging your deep understanding of software architecture to design flexible, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements (Must Have):2+ years of experience as a Native Android Developer Minimum of 1+ year experience Kotlin (with proven experience)Experience with Android build system, Gradle Technical Requirements (Good to Have):Know how to work with design systems Able to contribute to UI/UX discussions Experience setting up CI pipelines Experience working with and writing Docker containers Good grasp of data structures and algorithms Experience optimizing app performance and size Experience navigating through Google Play submission process Experience with workflow orchestration Experience with automation Experience working with 3rd party APIs/integrating 3rd party systems Familiarity with secure development practices Bonus:Experience in test automation Experience working on animations in app Soft Skills Requirements:Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Effective team and task management skills.Ability to adapt.Mentoring and providing guidance to team members.Attitude to learn and execute.Analytical problem-solving skills.Ability to influence.Like to work in a dynamic environment.Work autonomously and attentive to details
