Assistant Manager, Corporate Strategy

Perform Secretariat duties for Executive Committee meetings which will include scheduling meetings, compiling and circulating meeting packs, taking minutes and maintaining meeting records.

Review and perform quality checks for management papers submitted by other departments for submission to internal and external stakeholders.

Prepare related updates/papers to Management, Board of Directors and/or BNM.
-
Support the quarterly reporting and yearly business planning exercise which will include coordinating and working closely with cross functional teams to ensure alignment.Undertake/coordinate/participate in special projects from time to time relating to the company’s strategic initiatives.
-
Must be a formal degree holder or higher, with financial background preferred.
-
Experience in financial industry (preferred) or any related industry.
-
Background in secretariat, compliance, corporate planning, and project management.
-
At least 6 years working experience (at least 3 years in takaful/takaful-related field).

Other professional qualification(s) is an added advantage.

Skillful in producing clean and structured slides for submission to Management and regulators.

Excellent listening and writing skills to record quality minutes with fast turn-around time.

High attention to detail to spot typos, grammatical errors or misinformation in documents.
-
Strong time management skills and prioritization.
-
Strong organizational skills i.e. keep register of records updated, ensure supporting documents are easily retrieved for audit/regulators requests etc.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills i.e. able to connect the dots.

Strong planning and coordination skills to garner cooperation from various parties.
