Blender Software Engineer

Company is specialized in providing live reactive backgrounds inside a sound stage for movies, shows, tv broadcast, travel simulation and advertisements using combinations of LED screens, camera tracking system and real-time rendering graphics.

Job Descriptions:

Developing custom tools and scripts – python scripting to automate tasks within Blender, optimize workflows, and create new functionalities tailored to the needs of the virtual production pipeline.
Pipeline integration – Ensuring seamless interaction between Blender and other software such as Unreal Engine, Maya etc. Optimizing Blender’s use in real-time rendering environments.
3D asset creation and management – creating high quality 3D models, textures, and assets to ensure they meet the technical and artistic standard required. Setting up rigs and animations within Blender that can be used for characters or objects in a virtual production environment.
Collaboration with Artist and Technical team – providing technical support and troubleshooting for artists using Blender, helping them solve problems related to the software or workflow. Working closely with technical team to ensure Blender is being used effectively in the production process.
Rendering and compositing – managing rendering tasks within Blender to produce high quality outputs for use in the virtual production pipeline. Integrating Blender’s compositing capabilities into the post-production process, ensuring smooth workflows between Blender and compositing tools.

Requirements:

Familiar with all aspects of Blender, including modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, shading, and rendering.
Strong skill in Python and knowledge of C++ is beneficial.
Understanding of Blender’s API.
Problem-solving, artistic sensibility, team work, staying updated to industry evolves rapidly and quick learner.
