Job Description:
General Maintenance

• Repairs: Perform routine and emergency repairs on building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

System Maintenance

• HVAC Systems: Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Plumbing: Fix leaks, unclog drains, and maintain water supply systems.
• Electrical Systems: Replace light fixtures, troubleshoot electrical issues, and perform basic wiring tasks.

Equipment Management

• Tools and Equipment: Maintain and organize tools and equipment; ensure they are in good working condition.
• Inventory: Track maintenance supplies and materials, and assist in inventory management.

Safety and Compliance

• Safety Protocols: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Building Codes: Stay updated on building codes and regulations to ensure compliance during repairs and maintenance.

Documentation

• Work Orders: Complete work orders and maintenance logs to document repairs and inspections.
• Reports: Provide reports on maintenance activities and any issues that need addressing.

Coordination

• Collaboration: Work with other staff, contractors, and building management to coordinate repairs and renovations.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with tenants or occupants regarding maintenance schedules and issues.

Additional Duties

• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of building systems and reduce downtime.

Requirements:

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving.
• Able to relocate to Johor Bahru.
• 3 years of work experience in related field.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
