Department Manager - MIS & Receiving (Village Grocer EkoCheras Mall - Cheras)

Department Manager - MIS & Receiving;
  • To work closely with storekeepers and lorry drivers to ensure proper transaction of receiving and distribution process are carried out on time and accurately.
  • Assist to verify, check and segregation of goods upon receiving based on Delivery Order.
  • Perform proper stock management, including marking, labelling and stock count at regular basis.
  • Close working relationship with outlet's Department Managers.
  • Responsible to abide safety operation rules & regulation at store.
  • Perform housekeeping, ensure cleanliness and health & safety measurement in Receiving Department.
  • To manage staffs and train them as necessary to achieve store target.
  • To perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.
General;
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • Required skill(s): Negotiation Skills, Receiving Knowledge, Retail Merchandising, MS Office.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • At least 4-5 year(s) of relevant working experience in the supermarket retail with knowledge in premium items/goods is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in MIS & Receiving or equivalent.
  • Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, good problem-solving skills & able to make realistic decisions and customer-focused with strong market awareness.
  • Able to work beyond normal working hours if required, under pressure with tight deadlines and meeting targets given.
  • Result oriented, self-motivated, good team player and go-getter attitude.
  • High integrity, passionate, strong analytical and meticulous.
  • Must have own transport and able to travel as when required.
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Cheras area
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
