Job designation: Drafter
Job Description
1. To draw a drilling chart of the incoming order when necessary.
2. Do drafting of technical drawings according to the Standards and Terms of the Company.
3. To ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error-free.
4. Modification of existing drawings following approved specifications.
5. Using a computer system (including hardware and software) to program, set up functions, enter data, or process information on the machine when necessary.
6. Save, store, and safekeeping the drawings of respective projects and order data in proper accessible manners or file as instructed by superiors.
7. Modifies drawings by studying changes; redrawing requirements; changing identifications.
8. Identifies and verifies specifications by examining engineering documents, and performing calculations.
9. To perform any other task as assigned by superior from time to time.
10. To verify Engineering Change Notice/dimension change by sample product making and testing.
11. To use Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) computer programs or systems to prepare manufacturing or CNC programming, drawing and transfer drawings or CAD files into CAM software to ensure daily order processing programming is error-free.
Skills/Qualifications: -
Possess at least SPM, Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree, or equivalent.
- Proficient with Auto CAD software and others drawing software will be an advantage.
- Preferably from furniture manufacturing industries.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- At least 1-2 years (s) of working experience as a Drafter.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
