Job Description:
- Follow up obtain and process orders, including receiving deliveries and distributing packages and letters from sales team, production, QA, warehouse supervisor.
- Schedule shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient time for warehouse staff/agent to manage the arrange delivery.
- Monitoring shipping documents, shipment cost, keep files and search ocean freight/transport quotation and other shipping docs, if necessary, by agent and government authority.
- Understand letter of credit terms and conditions for handle issues arising in shipping.
- Responsible for tracking of goods enroutes to their destination ensuring any problems that may arise are resolved to avoid delays.
-Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
-To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time.
Job Requirement:
-Have education to diploma/degree standard or experience working in a customer focused role within the shipping industry.
-An excellent communication skill both written and verbal and will be able to present information in a clear and concise manner.
-Familiar with shipping procedure, logistics operation, shipments documentations processes and SAP system. .
-Able to work independently and within a team
-Knowledge to work with industry standard computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
-Bahasa Malaysia and English
