We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to assist our HR team, specifically in the area of payroll management. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in HR processes, payroll systems, and employee compensation administration.
KEY DUTIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Assist in preparing payroll by gathering employee data, such as attendance records, working hours, and leaves.
2. Support the payroll team in salary calculation.
3. Ensure and maintain the accuracy of employee details.
4. Respond to employee payroll inquiries, helping to resolve discrepancies or issues regarding pay.
5. Help with verifying timesheets, leave records, and overtime requests.
6. Maintain confidentiality of employee information and payroll data.
7. Support the team in ad-hoc HR tasks, such as maintaining employee records, updating payroll files, and assisting in audits or reports as needed.
PRE-REQUISITES & COMPETENCIES
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
3. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
4. Good communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
5. Reasonable command in spoken and written Chinese, English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From RM1,000.00 per month
